Woodcarving has arisen since the most ancient times. People represented animals, birds, the sun, the moon and worshipped to them, considering that the cut out figures bring happiness in the house, drive away any evil spirits and preserve owners against misfortunes. Ancient Slavs considered a tree as the intermediary between the person and the sun. It was a symbol of well-being and happiness, longevity and health. In olden time the majority of products of a tree had purely practical purpose and cult character, in each of them the master aspired to show a beauty particle.
Now art of art processing of a tree finds the application in an ornament of cottages, children's playgrounds, for manufacturing of caskets, candlesticks, a panel, sculptures of the small form of employees for an ornament of any apartment.
On a site jobs of the master of woodcarving of ShChurova Jury are presented. All products of manual job executed by the special tool: cutting torches, jambs, and various kinds chisels. For carved jobs soft deciduous breeds of a tree are used: an alder, an aspen, a linden.
All jobs are subdivided into three galleries:
1. A sculpture of small forms where jobs executed in the technician of a volume thread are presented.
2. A panel, masks, etc. where are presented a panel, masks, decorative mugs, decorative castles.
3. Hangers, caskets, etc. where hangers for a hall, kitchens, caskets, candlesticks are presented, a shelf for phone, frameworks for pictures.
